Dance with the Wind is a kinetic sculpture which is designed for the outdoors, where it literally dances with the wind.

Five rings and ball elements create a swaying and undulating ever-changing shape! As the wind pushes on the ring elements, they begin to tilt away from the wind, only to be swing back by the weight of the connected ball.

This back and forth motion, at different degrees and speeds for all the 5 segments, shows the sculpture “dancing” with the wind in gracefully swinging motions.

SIZE:
The size can easily be scaled from 6ft(2m) to 30ft(10m). Larger sizes are possible, but require more extensive engineering.

MATERIALS:
This kinetic sculpture can be fabricated from a variety of materials, with a large range of weight and cost:

1) ABS lightweight, highly durable materials, which are then painted with high quality automotive paint. This is the most economical approach.

2) Anodized Aluminum, which can be anodized in a number of colors including clear coated, or it can be painted.
