Ralfonso’ s kinetic wind sculpture Magic Tree 6m (20ft) is unveiled in the International Wuhu Sculpture Park, China. Invited as a special guest artist for the 2012 Liu Kaiqu International Sculpture Exhibition, Ralfonso’s Magic Tree is now permanently installed and part of the permanent collection of the Wuhu Sculpture Park.
Cube Tower is a wind-driven kinetic stainless steel sculpture, which will be highly recognizable due to its counter- rotating 5 cubes.
Light and Shadow play on the different angled faces, counter-pointed by the square wind - channels.
These colorful disc modules in 4-5 different sizes and colors have color-matched translucent gel lenses, so that any light from above leaves a gently moving and ever- changing light and color compositions on the floor, as well as eye-catching colored reflections on the ceiling.
The modular structure allows for a custom vertical and lateral volume distribution and sizing for any particular Indoor space, so there are interesting views from all sides, as well as from below.
In December 2006 ExoCentric Metal #2 was commissioned for the 5 story main elevator lobby of the Union Square development in Kowloon - Hong Kong by MTR Limited. Now it is called ELEMENTS MALL. The large 12 Module, 48 ring Assembly was installed November 2007 and can now be seen in the METAL area of the mall.
