“FLAMENCO #1” is a 2.5m or 8.5ft kinetic wind-driven sculpture, created from marine grade stainless steel, powder-coated in Ferrari Red.
This #1 was a private commission in 2016 for a private residence right on the sunny beaches of South Florida.
FLAMENCO is the abstracted contemporary form – inspired by the beautiful and fluid Spanish Flamenco dancers in Spain.
The design in the form of a twisted Helix, which consists of 60 horizontal discs, is elegantly spiraling upwards, as this Kinetic Wind Sculpture rotates around its central vertical axis.
