Sotheby’s International Auction House very successfully auctioned the original 2007 Ralfonso fully functional kinetic sculpture prototype (48cm) for the 10m (33ft) tall DANCE WITH THE WIND Kinetic Sculpture installed for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

The sale took place on March 3rd, 2016 at their CONTEMPORARY CURATED auction at their New York headquarters and due to high interest in the room and from abroad achieved a sales price in excess of the high estimate of USD 18,000.
